KMR provides in-field agronomic research for the corn and soybean industries to assist clients with product advancement and selection decisions while developing a proprietary line of genetics.
*Accounting/Data Specialist Description:*
Perform all daily bookkeeping activities, payroll, and compliance paperwork, while properly posting research data and exporting for specific purposes.
The Accounting/Data Specialist plans, directs and coordinates daily operations of the company both on-site and off-site.
*Requirements for Accounting/Data Specialist:*
* Minimum: Understanding of accounting principles with accounting degree or comparable experience.
* Preferred: Experience with payroll, financial reporting and compliance
* Proficiency with Excel with ability to learn specialized programs
* Basic understanding of production agriculture preferred
*Working Conditions of Accounting/Data Specialist:*
* Small office environment
* Balance of computer work with office & lab tasks
* April-May, high-paced, multitasking, extended hours
* 35% accounting/customer service, 35% complex data management, 30% operations management
* 40-50 hours/week, more possible in April and early May
