Part-Time Substitute English Language Learner Instructor (Storm Lake)

Description Summary Instruct adult English language learners in the areas of reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
Students’ proficiency levels range from non-English speakers to level 6 (approximately 9th grade reading level), basic recording keeping.
Expectations: -Good communication with supervisor, fellow instructors, and students -Present organized lessons in a face-to-face classroom setting -Be flexible -Be open to learning and trying new things in the classroom -Have a heart for immigrant and refugee populations -Connect with students and build a positive learning community within your classroom Qualifications BA required, BA in Education preferred, Spanish (or other second language helpful but not required), basic knowledge of computers.
