Responsibilities:
Developing and overseeing the hospital advertising and marketing strategy reflecting the overall image of Spencer Hospital while at times promoting specific service lines (e.
g.
Abben Cancer Center, surgical services, hospice, etc.
)
Develop and oversee brand identity, website development and maintenance, digital marketing strategies, coordinate publications, including brochures, newsletters, direct mail, etc.
; event planning (health fairs, open houses, etc.
); and a variety of other duties which help create awareness and promote the many services of Spencer Hospital
Oversees the development and coordination of advertising plans for all media, including print, radio, TV, website, social media and mailings
Seeks understanding of market environment and SH presence within the market to identify strengths and weaknesses
Develops and completes measurable goals to fill gaps and adapt to changing marketing environments
Works with Administration to maintain strong understanding of SH mission and strategic plan and develop marketing plan to meet objectives
Represents Spencer Hospital in a manner consistent with the overall image at all times
Effectively plans and executes high quality business activities, balancing customer interests with financial requirements
Effectively manages and directs the work of individuals or teams
Ability to direct him/herself, managing time effectively and setting a positive example
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Graphic Arts, or similar discipline
Leadership experience strongly preferred
Healthcare experience preferred
Strong writing and communication skills including public speaking
Self-motivated
Focuses on action and getting results
Schedule:
72-80 hours/pp salaried
Primary M-F
May require evening and weekends based on events
