Smitty’s Lawn and Landscape is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Specialist to join our team and play a key role in promoting our lawn & Landscape company along with our award winning garden center to the local community.
*Responsibilities:*
· Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email marketing, website content, and potentially print media.
· Manage the company website, ensuring it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines.
· Create engaging and informative content (blog posts, social media captions, email newsletters, etc.
) on gardening trends, plant care tips, and product promotions.
· Cultivate relationships with local media outlets to secure press coverage and brand awareness.
· Stay current on industry trends and best practices in marketing and horticulture.
· Assist with the planning and execution of events and workshops to generate customer engagement.
· Design high-quality marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and email templates.
*Qualifications:*
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Horticulture, or a related field (passion for plants is a strong plus).
· Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the B2C or retail sector.
· Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns that achieve measurable results.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for translating complex information into engaging content.
· Strong social media expertise, with the ability to create compelling content and manage multiple platforms.
· Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and graphic design software is a plus.
