Summary/Primary Purpose: Oversees the fund-raising campaign (Bellringing) that runs from November to December and ensures campaign goals are being met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Arranges bell-ringers schedule on a weekly basis.
Runs an orientation meeting for the volunteers and employees at the beginning of the Fund-raising campaign.
Plans, schedules, and assigns work of staff and volunteers; instructs in proper methods and procedures; checks and approves work in progress and upon completion to ensure accuracy and completeness as well as compliance with Salvation Army policies and procedures.
Maintains contact with staff and volunteers throughout their workday, answers questions, concerns or problems.
Prepares and maintains up-to-date records and databases for daily kettle income information; prepares reports regarding the status of the kettle program; provides staff and volunteers with documentation of the hours worked.
Drives Salvation Army vehicle to deliver and collect kettles and supplies to kettle locations and workers.
Drives the bell ringers to and from their bell-ringing locations.
Assists with counting, recording.
Driving is an essential role of this position.
All other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Volunteers and Bell Ringers
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma and minimum 1-year experience with fund raising events, and volunteer recruitment methods/practices.

Other Qualifications: Must pass all applicable background checks.
Must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside.
Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business.
Must successfully complete Safe from Harm training within 90 days of hire, as established by The Salvation Army.
