Lathe Operator | $20/hr
Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm
An established manufacturing company located in the Humboldt, IA area is hiring an experience Lathe Operator to join their team! The Lathe Operator position will work 1st Shift, Monday-Friday and receive $20/hr! Those who have prior machining and lathe operating experience are encouraged to apply.
Must demonstrate good teamwork, good attendance and possess blueprint reading abilities!
Responsibilities:
Perform set up and operations of mills, manual and CNC driven lathes, drill press and tap operations
Reading of blueprints and job orders
Proficient use of all measuring devices; i.
e.
- tape measure, calipers, micrometer
Complete job orders as specified
Adhere to production and shipping/receiving schedules
Other duties as assigned
Responsibilities:
Prior machinist experienced required
Ability to follow instruction, demonstrate good teamwork skills and attendance
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Knowledge of fractions and decimal conversions
Knowledge of drilling and tapping parts
Understanding of print tolerances
