Ag Processing Inc (AGP) currently has an opening for a self-motivated full time Maintenance person to join our team in Eagle Grove, IA! This person will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting various issues by completing appropriate maintenance and repair/replacement of equipment.
Responsibilities:
Repair/replace broken or non-functioning equipment through analysis of problem and determining what materials/parts are needed
Perform and maintain lubrication and preventive maintenance
Recommend improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and method of operation
Perform welding, torch and plasma cutting to complete various repairs
Complete daily paperwork including equipment inspection and location parts for other departments
Troubleshoot electrical problems and complete repairs when appropriate
Maintain plant sanitation standards
Perform other duties as assigned by facility management
Document and record maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance tasks

Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
2 + years of experience in a mechanically related field or equivalent
Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics and blueprints
Skilled in operating a forklift, bobcat and end-loader
Skilled in the use of multiple types of electrical testing equipment
Excellent oral and written communication skills with internal and external customers
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Ability to read and interpret measuring devices such as tape measure, dial calipers and micrometer
Familiarity with installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of various types of bearings, bushings, sprockets, pulleys, sheaves, chains, 3-phase motors, VFD's, motor starters, belt conveyors, drag conveyors, screw conveyors and bucket elevators
DAY SHIFT - with the possibility of working extended hours and some weekends to expedite repairs
